Atlanta Magazine's Bill Addison did a great write up about BBQ in Atlanta (and its surrounding counties) in the July issue.. There is a Top 5 list and reviews of other BBQ restaurants by county. I definitely recommend checking it out and trying as many places as possible. According to the article, the Top 5 are:
- Hickory Pig (Gainesville)
- Sam's BBQ 1 (Marietta)
- Swallow at the Hollow (Roswell)
- P'cheen (Old Fourth Ward, Atlanta)
- Blind Pig BBQ (Jackson)
